    the sc-c1 uses 12v unregulated... all regulation is done inside the SC-C1 Tuner!!!

    using a SC-C1 on a SC-H1 IS NOT RECOMENED
    and if powered via THE SC-C1 Interface, damage may occour

    ie dont mix the home with the car

    (there is a way to do it... but unless u need optical, dont bother with sc-h1)

    Yup, the SC-H1 requires 5V. I have a Audigy 2 NX sound card with 1 optical input so I took advantage of the SC-H1's optical out, which is why I went that route. Audio sounds really crisp with it.

    really? wow. Well now I can power it off the regular car line instead of a wire hanging outside the PC case to it!
