creative getting legal over someone who made aftermarket drivers that actually work properly for vista.

this might be a big deal if their drivers were better or if their support existed, I gave up waiting for XP drivers for some things. I dont appreciate a company that sells you a great card then promises drivers that will work but dont. anyway </rant>

I will be trashing my Sound Blaster Live..... This company is so disgusting. What drives me crazy is that they did not even respond to any of the posts, instead they just stay quiet. I agree that their software is flaky, and very hard to use........ Can you point me to a card that also does the same like the SB Live 24 USB?

Sadly I've grown too fond of Kx drivers/DSP to let my compatible SB Live 5.1 go. Luckily it was a freebie (so I didn't give Creative any income) and I'm not, and have never used Creatives drivers for it.

I too am dismayed, and already wasn't a fan of Creative to begin with. I never have, nor ever will send any of my hard earned cash their way.

The only issue is that it is hard to find USB based soundcards, and that is the route I have to 100% take. I saw one from Zalman, but it seems to be so basic, and does not have as many features as the SB Live 24bit.
