I like to think I know quite a bit, as I've been involved with the hobgby for a number of years.Originally Posted by srtbrian

From the users that have, I've seen nothing but issues, mostly with build quality.
The amplifier would be mediocre, at best.
You can get a comparable modular system for at least $500 less, but then you face the task of installing it, which will be more difficult, admittedly.
Im very good at installing stuff, I dont have any fear for that. You seem to know what your talking about. Tell me what I would need to do this:
1: Im taking out my aftermarket Kenwood Touchscreen unit
2: I want to do the Carcomputer and be able to do pretty much everything, Phone, internet, ect ect.
3: I see like Vroom PC and stuff like that but were im lost is this, I have Can-Bus dont know if your up to date with that or not, but since I have the Kenwood unit I already have the PAC by pass unit that plugs into my factory harness so I can put in a aftermarket deck, How do I splice in the speaker wires, Amp turn on ect to the Carpc??
What do I need to buy to do this? Thank you for your help.
It's all in the FAQs:

As far as what to buy, there's no set guide, because it all depends on your specific project goals.
If you understand how to get a desktop PC to achieve the functionality you seek, then you simply apply that to a vehicle PC. Understand that a vehicle PC is just a PC, only it's in your ride. The only unique piece of hardware is the power supply.
