What exactly happens when you try to turn on your PC? Do any fans spin, does the board show that it's receiving power? Have you tried disconnecting the CD-Rom?
Hey,
My CarPc- VoomPC2
M2-ATX
Intel 1.5ghz
2gb Ram
120g Hard Drive
After installing the wiring for the headunit and Touchscreen display the unit was working and booting fine, until i opened the VoomPC2 enclosure to attach CD rom via the IDE power and cable to install windows.
The unit just stoped working at this point.
any help would be great
Thanks

Install the software on a test bench, not in the car.

Ive removed the cd rom and tryed but same problem
Thanks
Is it a motherboard that requires the extra 4 pin power cable? That's what the Intel board does when you don't connect that cable, the fan spins but the computer doesn't boot.
Hey fabworks,
Thanks for the reply.
what is it the best way to connect the voompc to ac power? to install on my test bench.
Thanks
