Does anyone have or plan to put a computer in their truck (semi)? I intend to do this when I get one.

I think $2000 would be plenty to make a nice regular carPC...
Why do you feel you need to go the tablet route?

because 2000 is plenty...
if my budget were 1500 or less i would not have a decent tablet option. 2000 gives me just enough to do it right...w/ a tablet. This install is not for me, it is for the owner of the semi. i have to take into consideration his wants...and having the option to pull out the system and use it as a laptop would be a huge plus to him.
also if needed i could raise the budget to 2500 to squeeze in the extras if he chooses...3g router comes to mind.
i know one of the guys on the CentraFuse forums has a setup in his Semi.
(forget exactly who though)
