    Speedfan causes carpc to overheat

Anyone else use speedfan? I use this program so I can view CPU and motherboard temperatures on Road Runner. I've noticed that when I come out of hibernation speedfan drops "fan 0" to zero rpms and causes overheating on my D945GCLF2 board.

So everytime I come out of hibernation I must edit speedfan settings which is a pain as the setting won't stay permanently. For the time being I removed speedfan but I have no idea what my motherboard & cpu temperatures are without it. Is there an alternative program to use?

It's a common problem with speedfan and hibernation. Sometimes users will sees full fan speed when coming out, some users see fan speeds drop to 0 like you do.

I know of no other freeware programs that you can use to monitor temp with, but I'll keep an eye out. You could always drop $25 on this: http://www.hmonitor.net/

Your not the only one that this happens to. However the fan that stays on for me is right on top of the board so mine doesn't get too hot. I usally just keep the other one off and turn it on when it is 100+ degree's outside.
