2 Questions, 1 could be dumb
Hey,
I guess i'll start with the dumb question. I just thought that if i find a small lcd, like 16x2 or something and the song being displayed is longer than the size (eg:
Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Impression that i get) what happens, does it lose half of it or does it scroll. Just something i thought of and was wondering about.
I also was looking at some older posts and found someone who said you could take lcd's out of old products like water meters or security systems. Has anyone done this, I don't fell like looking for some only to find out it don't work and then i have all the electronic stuff laying around. Not that that's a bad thing. Thanks.
Ps. Im at work now and kinda bored, guess that's why i thought abouth that length of song and lcd size question.

System: P133, 64MB Ram, 2x 1.05GB HD, 16x2 LCD, 12 Key Keypad, 300W Inverter, FM Modulator, 45x4 CD.
as for question 2....
as long as the lcd display has a hd4470 controller chip or equivilent ,it should be ok.... not all do though.. i got mine from a photocopier access box.. and a couple from konica photocopiers.

Thanks a lot guys for answers, i will keep a look out for something i can rip the lcd off of. As for the lcd plugin you are using(mp3prelude) which one are you using.
