any recommendations on mounting amp and carpc

    Good day folks.

I am currently brainstorming any ideas @ the moment.
I will like to mount my amp and carpc in the underside of my backseat in my trunk area..
    can u guys suggest anything?

I was thinking of attaching the amp and carpc to some thin wood and then attach that to the metal part of the trunk...

there's one thing im a bit skeptical about is mounting the amp upside down in that area.
    i know heat rises..
the heatsink in the amp is designed to let heat up and away from the amp.
if it amp is upside down, would heat "rising" back into the amp be an issue?

    thank you..

I have mounted many amplifiers upside-down to the rear deck lid, its not awesome for the amp, but you shouldn't have any major issues. There is enough airflow to cool the amplifier well enough. I have also created boxes around the equipment that furthur restricted airflow, made it look nicer too, but still no issues.

I just installed a couple of Alpine amps upside down under a parcel tray in a Jetta a few weeks ago. I have not heard back that there are any issues mind you the heat sinks are down both sides of the amp, not on top.

Why cant you just make an upside down table and have the items site on top. Meaning they dont have to be upside down.
