For the love of god! Do the obvious thing and change the picture that he is linking to to something else.
This one used to be of some indicators I was modding for my car:

You are welcome to steal it, link to it and I'll go visit goatse.cx

So, I got a reply from Emma at ebay this morning about the email I sent. She basically said she cant do anything cause I wasnt the owner of the images.
Regrettably, we will only able to take action if the owner of the images or text writes to us. In some instances, sellers may have obtained permission to use the material. Therefore, we often cannot remove
listings based on the representations of third parties whose credentials we cannot verify.
So my complaint did nothing, hopefully when they notice they got a bunch of complaints for this auction they will take some sort of action.

Anyone else get a similar reply?

The owner of said material has to ask for it to be removed. Their policy is sound.

Having tried to report someone for selling stolen software several times to ebay, I cant see why they would care. They are making money and no one in authority is bothered about your case so they all get away with it.
The guy I was trying to stop has made around 6000 from selling stoeln software on ebay. What's ebay's cut of that from 600 auctions at 10 a pop? hmmm...

that response from the guy is classic. Contact the ebay VERO program, search their help section for that acronym. They'll kill the auction fast, I've had it happen Xe@#rc anyone?? I had some Jackhole steal a picture of my screen in my car to try and sell some ripoff monotone bare lcd panels a long time ago.. He made the mistake of using a picture hosted by my server... I just replaced the picture with some really inappropriate (porn, bad porn) picture. His potential victims must have loved that. Ebay wrote me an email about it later, saying they frown on that sort of thing but they understand the situation.

Someone put a picture of me up on some site without my permission once. I e-mailed the webmaster politely, and he didn't take it down. He lives in my town though, so now I'm just gonna track him down in the middle of the night like a dog and beat the holy hell out of him.

    haha..that was a joke....sorta...

hope you get what you want.
