Hey I have to compromise. I am sure there is a auto login feature, lol. The thing is the USB support is just so much better then all the others. Now I will have to do some rewiring with the toggle USB ports, but its so much easier. I just extend to the 4 port hub to each seat. So since each station is a hub, you dont have to fight or guess what port is going to what system. On Virtual Box, half the time the devices would fail for no reason and reconnect to the host.

    Here is what I say.

    Me: Are you complaining?
Guest: Yes, I dont have to do that in shared PC mode.
    Me: *Slams on brakes*
Me: Well get out and start walking b!+ch.

OK, I installed it, and I am in love. Its so easy to setup. Just plug in a 4 port hub, install the devices, then go into normal mode and its done. Where I had issues is with touchscreen. They say that touchscreen can be used but I couldnt get it to work. I need to get all the stations up first. What I need to know is how can I get a license key? I know its for educational use, but do you think MS will sell me a key? From reading, a key $330.00?

Were you getting errors when trying to use touchscreen? Have you looked in the Windows event viewer to see if any warnings were logged? I wonder if a standard VGA/DVI/HDMI touchscreen would work, but the USB to VGA video card is causing the problem? That would be pretty easy to check, if you could throw another video card in your rig.

What I tried to do is just plug the TS in. Nothing. I then installed the touchkit drivers and was able to do a touchscreen calibration on the station, but once the calibration was done, nothing. The USB to VGA are fine. I used the drivers for multipoint from DisplayLink. Station B is on the PCIe card. I have not made any for the USB to VGA ports.

Hmm. I wonder if, in order for the touchscreen to work, you need a thin client. Not sure about that. I haven't looked, but there might be a Microsoft forum for Multipoint. I'm sure you could ask your question there and get a good answer.

Regarding how much it costs, be prepared to drop some cash.

One license for the Multipoint server, and one each Server and Multipoint client licence for each client.

Have you see the deployment guide?

It's cheaper for a school to do that, than to buy multiple computers and a Windows 2008 (or 2008 R2) server + applicable licenses. It's just not all that cheap for us guys! lol

Ease of use and ease of deployment costs a lot nowadays.

Well I'm sure I'll find a way, LMFAO. I am worried about the touchscreen issue though. I hope its not like NComputing where the touchscreens would all control screen 1, even though I am touching screen 2.
