As long as you had a constant internet connection so you'd be able to use a thin client to access your real computer, wherever it is. This requires a thin client to access a remote computer, and with all of the dead zones with 3g/4g, I wouldn't be very happy driving down the road and losing connection, which means no music/video/etc. And I don't know how GPS would work with this device - probably not at all would be my guess.
It's too early to tell, of course, but I don't see this replacing a carpc.
