Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit?
I imagine this question has been asked a few times before, but my case is a little different.
I have a motherboard here with 4 GB of RAM that will only allocate 3 GB on Windows 7 32 bit. I guess thats because of UEFI.
If I had 3.5 GB or so I would take 32 bit without question, but I'm not sure if 3 GB will be enough since I will be recording 720p and maybe 1080p later and have quite a lot of background programs.
I tried once using 2 GB and only had 700 mb free and that was without any background programs open and not recording.
On the other hand I also am concerned with the compatibility of some drivers and applications when running 64 bit Windows. I had some issues in the past, but I am not sure if they were related to 64 bit.
So, should I stick with 32 bit and only 3 GB or should I go 64 bit?
Any suggestions and help are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
