i spent $60AUS on 4 litres of resin and enough catalyst (bout100ml)
dunno what its worth in other parts of the world

to smooth out the bumps you cover it with bog(bondo) body filler whatever you wanna call it then sand it down till its smooth

it dosnt have to be perfectly smoo6th as the vynal or carpet will cover up and minor imperfections

    cheers

Just for reference, on the full custom headliner I'm in the process of building. I've already used 5 gallons of fiberglass resin and 3 gallons of bondo... It's coming along. But I'm paying like $17 USD a gallon for the resin and bondo is only about $13. Your prices are really high.

Been glassing my console (fibreglass paste, and body filler) this weekend. I have rediscovered my hatred of glassing/filling anything, to to my inability to get anything even vagually smooth.
