Cheapest way of installing "Android" in my car?
I've looked around for hours now and I think my head is going to explode.
Basically it's a simple concept, I have a double DIN space and I want to integrate some sort of Android solution with touchscreen, I'm terrible with DIY so I can fabricate any moulds or make any modifications so it needs to be simple! So far I'm considering
Pioneer AppRadio -With all the neccessary hacks it seems I can use my Galaxy S3. This is perfect as I won't need a seperate amp, but relatively expensive (around £340 with all the cables I need it seems)
Mimics X2 - This will cost around £310 and I'll still have to use a seperate amp (which I'll just hide in the glove compartment)
Now there is the other option of just using a cheap 7" tablet and my current amp, this would be perfect except apart from mounting it somewhere. Does anyone make a kit to mount a tablet into the double din space?
Are there any other options? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
