Cool Mp3 system helps in more way than one.

After going to my first day of classes this semister, I found that I was registered in "Basic computer apps". HA! well anyway, after trying to see if I could test out I found that I would not be allowed to due to policies and what not. However I found out that a class can be ignored if you show life experience in the subject. The professor asked me if I had anything to show him that would prove that I knew what I was doing. wothout missing a beat I told him about my car. He seemed somewhat interested so to make a long story short, I will not be attending that class again. =)

how about the rest of you? any interesting Mp3car related stories?

We went to the audio sales shop in Mackay, QLD, Australia and asked them if they had MP3 players for the car yet. The salesman said "No." As we walked out after a browse around the salesman went over to the boss and said "Hey did you know you can get mp3 players for your _car_ now?" I can see them getting some in at top $ prices soon...

put it like this...i am sick and tied of demoing. I need a page and start making these things in huge amount. Even my g/f now knows how to use my system. She can't wait to get into the car and search for her songs and movies.

    Cool

My ex-girlfriend thought it was pretty neat. I get stopped by the police every once and a while and it never ceases to impress.

A few months back I went to the car audio store to get a new set of rear speakers. All 7 employees were huddled out beside my car for about 15 minutes...Got a discount on the speakers...

    Red face

It's funny, I think mp3's are the best thing to come to car stereo and whenever I talk about it in school everyone looks at me funny. No one in my school even knows what an mp3 is, i guess i dont have to worry about my computer getting stolen!

That’s kinda sad. Car computing and MP3 is the future. I am going to help others and bring this amazing technology to the masses.

Hey, that's what I'm going to try to do too, only I want to make some money from it. Nothing wrong with that is there?

Just thought I should add a
I think you meant it's sad people don't care what MP3 is about. You have to realize a lot of people aren't as "out-there" as we are, they only take to things once they become mainstream and everyone else is doing it... this is where the "cash in" oppurtunity arises. If you get in early and put enough work in you can make money out of this hype that always comes when something new comes around (look at Pokemon).
