If that's the case, then fashion a car out of a cardboard box.

You start making random generalizations, and you'll get random replies.

If you have that kind of disposable income that you can base your car buying decision off how easy it is to install a carpc, you should search the worklogs section and see whichever looks easiest. Since most people won't be able to relate to your reasoning, you're not likely to get a decently usable response for the asking.

You can choose a car for many reasons, but for ease of CarPC install is not be a major one of them.

Buy a car for How it drives, how it looks, how comfortable it is, how reliable it is, how it can handle the things in life you need it to do.

one of my primary driving forces behind my vehicle purchases is how easy the sound system can be changed--which includes how the radio area accepts different devices, and where the speakers are positioned.. speed and handling are very low priorities to me.

Out of all the posts, you seem to be the only one with a good IQ level. The rest look like they talk to and lick rocks or something.

Besides a CarPC, Im also like yourself interested in sound system modification; Ill probably do the sound first (a bit less expensive in the long run) and then start the transition to include the CarPC.

I've tried to get some pictures of the interior of those cars but they are difficult to find.

I also find it a bit strange to base the larger part of your car buying decision on how the carpc install will go, but who cares, its not my car or my life. The carpc was part of my plan from the very beginning when I was shopping for a new vehicle, however it was rather minor. I needed a truck, most importantly one with tons of torque for towing and 4WD for getting me to the snow and back. It also happens that this truck has tons of room for installing a big lcd and computer, so that's a plus.

I think in the end you'll end up deciding what car you want more on its merits as a car anyway. However, there's nothing wrong with being educated about what the pc build might entail in regards to each car. You're definitely going to make your life easier in terms of full-on integration if you find something with a canbus system. Again pretty much any hurdle can be overcome by time and budget. It's all about how much you have of each.

Which of those vehicles has the best interior acoustics (for the intended music and power)?

Exactly. I choose the car I want because its MY car and MY life. That's why I asked on this forum to recommend one from what I listed that would be good for a CarPC (because projects have been done, double din radio, good audio, etc)

LOL, it really all depends on what you want in a Car PC. Originally I bought my car to haul the pups around. I have now turned it into a 6 passenger entertainment system. My truck was originally single din. Nexon made it double din. You can take practically any car and make it into what you want. Yu just have to have imagination, know how, and money.
