If you reverse your leads does it show "-" in front of the 0.00? Like -0.00 SNO

LOL - I was thinking the same "Never a stupid question..." but paraphrase it as "Never a stupid question, only stupid actions sometimes".

There are a few basic or golden rules with multimeters. The first I teach is NEVER do a resistance measurement on a powered circuit. (The 2nd is never try to test battery or source current capability by connecting an ammeter across the terminals.) Usually DMMs blow. If lucky, only the internal fuse blows, or other DMM scales may still read ok.

Ironically the DMM read true - any PSU or battery should ideally be zero Ohms (impedance).

lol old spark you where correct. i bought a new DMM , And it clearly states, do not measure Ohms, across working power supply's :P . anyway. something last

if i change my carpc (wich is a desktop one), with a laptop. keep everything in tact, except, that all signals will be from a laptop. and i have the laptop work in battery mode, (no charger connected, ) the loop will be broken, and i wont have any noise?? correct???

the reason ask, is cause, since history has proven that this damned loop is good for me, i could use a laptop, with and "inteligent" charging system, that shuts off charging of the laptop, when the laptop is on, and after it turns off, it will begin to charge the laptop for a time (time will be depended on the time that the laptop worked) and then shut off. ( i have 2 batteries, so deep discharge isn't a threat )

There is no loop with something that is isolated. That's called a portable laptop on the passenger seat.

Batteries last longer the less they are discharged

You have loops everywhere, and dc voltage drops (the other reason for "ground loop" noise).
yTF are you using an inverter?
