Try contacting Centurion.... Thats what I did and they sent me a photocopy of the manual. Give them a ring and see what they say.

    Location: Dunstable - Bedfordshire
    Car: Vauxhall Astra Mk2 GTE
System: Version 4 of car computer comprising:

    Hardware: P4 1.8Ghz - 512MB RAM - 40Gb Disk - 15" touch screen - Home Made GPS module.

Software: Windows XP with XP LITE - Media Engine - Not sure about GPS Software.

Been using car computers since 1998 when version one was just an AMD K62 350 with 10Gb and a keypad (no display) through head unit via cassette adapter.

This version is going to be something different! As there's no where really to fit the 15" screen, and the dash looks a bit tired, i'm ripping it all out and building a dash around the screen.

It's going to take a while but I hope to have it installed by the summer.

Photos of the install to come soon.
    Best regards,

    Darren Thrower

    Hi Guys,

Just to say hello to the UK members.
I'm in Surbiton/Kingston area (just South of Central London)

My car is a Nissan 200SX (2000 s14 model)and currently I'm in the process of trying to fit a 7 inch Lilliput screen in my central dash.

My biggest gripe is I don't seem to have enough room for the radio if I fit the screen. I have been reading about the USB radios and many don't seem to like them . What about you guys - any of you using a USB radio? Are they any good?

Still it's a lot of fun, I'm just hoping to get a half decent finish.
Everyone I talk to thinks I'm some kind of maniac when I say that I'm fiting a screen with a computer in my car, so it's nice to be amongst fellow maniacs

Have you guys been meeting up at all?

    Cheers

    Russ

Comments: Need some help, anyone installed any kind of screen in an Astra mk1 ? Trying to figure out how to it.

My Aim : System around the 400mhz, 128k ram. Something that will run Winamp comfortably. Preferably a laptop, I've been looking around at these, (see link). Very nice, exaclty what I want, as I don't want anything permanent installed.

Sorry for rekindling an old hot topic, but I just wanted to say somethings without running my mouth off too much. I'm sorry if anyoneis really offended by what I am going to say, but I feel that it has to be said. My cousin was less than a block away from the homicide bomber that blew himself up at a kids pizza place (Like Chucky Cheese, if anyone knows what that is), so what Blop said sort of hit me in a bad way. Here I go...

But if it does offend them well......tough they deserve to be offened if it reminds them a little of the awful acts there present government is responsible for.............

read and learn, America and israel our responsible for 9/11
    Hey man,

Don't be a hater! How can you say that America and Israel are responsible for 9/11. Listen, if you weren't so damn close-minded, you would see that actually most of the problems in the world come from Islamic/Arab fundamentalists. You don't see Americans or Israelis go to family restaurants or bus stops, etc.. and blowing up innocent men, women, and children. If these terrorist assholes had any real balls, they would go try to attack military targets instead of innocent people. But unfortunatly, these monsters choose to be wimps and therefor, attack innocent people who are just trying to get to work, to a friends house, to shop, or even just have a nice dinner with their family and friends. Just out of curiosty, how would you feel if you didn't know if a little walk to your local coffee shop could mean having your body blown to bits just because you just happen to be somewhere at the wrong time? Just do me a favor,
THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE **** THAT YOU KNOW IS NOT TRUE!!!!

    Enough ranting!

    I'm disgusted,

    Rafster
