    Car: Toyota Landcruiser HDJ80

    System base: Via 1GHz,256Mb RAM,40Gb HD,Opus 150w + M1-ATX PSU's, 15" Ilyama LCD screen with Miles Electronics touch screen overlay.

    Software: XP, Media Player, Mappoint, custom interface.

    State of play: installed and working for over two years now, finished? nope, always thinking of new things to play with.

    Comments: If you relocate the AC controls in a HDJ80 you can fit a 15" screen in the dash Make sure your PC is high up if you like to play in deep water

    Tips: Get a wireless network working and use Ultra VNC so you can sit in the house and tweak your Car PC setup remotely in comfort.

    Got an Alpine Sat-Nav system in my Peugeot 807, this ones for my other half's car. I need to get my act together to site the kit into the car, but fabrication is not my strong point ! Lots more googling required !

    looks like i missed this thread too

    i'm in kent and i drive a VW Golf (MKIV) install has been in for about 7/8 months now. about to start fabricating my dash for a flush finish
