    please read

ok i discoverd this forum last year i think or maybe the year before and was really into it and i had a 200mmx pc that i was willing to spare for the project along with a palmIIIx .

After lots of reading my options were:
    - learn a bit about linux and run giantdisc
    - install a lite version of win98 and run winamp controled by palm amp

well lazy as i was i went with the second option and got really close to finishing the project. I got everything to fit into my old hp scanner's box wich i had planned to put in my trunc but then it hit me ...
Playlist????/ palm amp only showed all the songs on the carpc so what the heck ...?
i would hae to pic a song after each song was played

So i bougth an cd mp3 player and gave up on the project.
now i have the same stuff and was wandering waht else could i doo with it ?
allso now i have an pakerd bell serial ir receiver which works fine with girder.

i wanted to make the pc into a mp3 player picture browser and fone with speakerfone able and put it in my room or livingroom

anything else you would sugjest ?

Can I politely ask that you title your thread with something more descriptive than "Please Read"?
