Thread: Diagram of my setup

Now on with the threads title. I made a diagram in MS Paint, of my setup. Maybe this can shed some light on others on "maybe" how to connect a pc into a car system. Hope you all can understand it. Got any sugg?

thats an interesting setup... why didnt you use infinty tweeters? i assume they would have been part of what appears to be the front component speakers...

also, what type of music do you listen to? typically the bandpass type boxes are used for rap and hip-hop music. just curious, as a ported or sealed box may compliment your musical taste better, if they are different that mentioned above.

finally... arent system layouts generally layed-out so the front of the car is at the top. the rear is at the bottom, and the sources are near the middle. it tends to make them easier to unserstand.

I did have the infiniti tweets, but since these speakers were installed when I first purchased the car back in 2000, when I installed the amps a few months ago, they were blown. Dunno if by sun damage or by under power distortion.

I listen to all types of music, whatever sounds good ill listen to it. Except Country its just something about that music that I CANNOT stand. The bandpass box was used cause again I bought way back when. It actually cost me only $7.00 dollars. I bought in a Circuit City I used to work for. It was an open ITEM, plus the employee discount. Thats why I use that box.

I wouldnt really know how system layouts are desinged. I would really like to see others, profesionally made or what not. That will help me do another better one.

MS paint was used cause I cant figure out how to use Adobe PS6 with custom shapes straight lines and so forth. Eventually I will get em. I do know my around PS6 but I guess im lacking the skills needed for something like this.

I want to desing another layout but with the silahuette (is that how its spelled?) of my vehicle. Wich is a Mitsubishi 3000GT, if you can link me or find anything regarding something like this, I would apreciate it.

Cute pic, could have made it smaller so everything fit on the same page with out scrolling up/down. Hey I used MS Paint when I did my layout. It's a good program to use. If the bandpass box was designed right, It'll sound good with any music you throw at it. My bandpass box sounds good on everything. From tight bass (James Howard Newton's Amuseum from sheffield labs) to boomy bass (Too Short) and everything in between. osirisdon you dont like Shania Twain? God I love her music. But then again shes more of pop than country. I just cant stand rap music.

Now her music? hmm I really dunno. I guess the stuff she launches on the radio and music television is alright.
