As anyone or know of anyone who has a mk2 golf. The prob is when putting the subs in the boot on it rattles, was thinking its the taligate but not sure ive also stuck the licence plate down which has stopped some rattle, can anyone help

I recommend you buy a big sheet of DynoMat www.dynomat.com or equivilant, then just track down every individual rattle, most are caused by taillights, license plates, metal bracing on the trunk lid, (you would call it a boot lid?) and plaster each piece that rattles with some DynoMat,,

it would proberly be the plastic panle along the inside of the boot that covers the window wiper mechanisum.

I've found that a lot of rattles that weren't cured with a liscense plate cover mod were found to be in the trunk latch mechanism.
