I don't think that running your AC over a computer would have too much problem with condensation. AC's are also dehumidifiers, the air blowing out of them is pretty dry, I've never tried though, so I could be wrong.

I'd never personally use a water-cooling system in a desktop computer, let alone a car. Water cooling systems have a nasty habit of blowing up and spilling water all over your computers innards. I wouldn't trust the connections from the tubing to the water blocks in a high vibration environment. It seems like a recipe for disaster that can easily be avoided by keeping your design simple.

I was thinking that same thing. The air is 'conditioned' so basically it's had all the moisture pulled from it ... I'm not well versed on it, but that's my understanding. I'm sure it's not 100% moisture free, but I bet it would be ok. I plan on ACing my setup, if I ever get the time to work on it.

so AC would probly be the way to go, if using a Real powerfull machine and an inverter. Like have a carputer under the Drivers Seat, and the inverter under the passanger seat. I have Vents under my seats for the backseats. and I could tap into those for AC cooling! sounds good

I have my Transmission cooller also mounted infront of my radiator. It's works GREAT! That's a good idea to do it like that. My only concern would be engine heat. It heats up quite a bit under the hood. At times when the car isn't in motion (Stop lights, or parking idle), the radiator would actually be heating up. If anything, maybe ceramic coating metal lines. telekineticfool has a point, but ceramic coating might help.

    Gentlemen,

    Lets cut the confusion

The fact remains that if you take the AC output it will be almost dry however it may shock the components ...... The right way is to pull air over the chips.....

Transmission oil temp and engine coolant is much higher than the ambient and hence will cool those two as the delta will be high however, it will not work for temp which are almost close to ambient.....

And if there were any problems inhailing air passed over electronic chips, it would not be allowed in areas where people move around w/o any protective gear

    So chill out.....
