Ya know, you (frodo) can believe whatever you'd like, but you started this whole thing by being a smart ***. I didn't say anything wrong. The picture they show representing the PuRam shows an small object that looks about the size of what I thought was a laptop HD.

    Anyways.
I didn't know about the existence of the cenatek before I researched the PuRam. Forgive me all to hell, ok? Really, don't be an ***. I don't know everything about computers but I'm not stupid. I would say not too many people know about the cenatek drive.

In your own quote they say nothing about the transfer rates. So what are they lying about? You denied the existence of the ram because you misread their claim. I'll conceed it might be a little misleading to say it has a memory bandwith of 8GB/s but it's not a lie, if that is in fact the actual bandwidth of the memory. I don't know that stuff.

So anyways, I'm sorry if you think I had an attitude, but I was just trying to share this info. I really don't want to argue, but I guess I took it a little personally when you fought me on every inch of the way (which you did). I really don't think I was wrong about anything.

Lets just say that independent testing will decide this question as to the performance of L computers. I think they will have to deliver on all their promises or they will get smeared in the computing savy public. Lets just say that.

cproaudio, didn see your post until I posted the last post

thanks for explaining some of your doubts
I'd agree that it is misleading to specify the amount of ram and all that.
The person who wrote all that got ahead of themselves i'd say. I think they should change that.

That intel doc is amazing! I didnt know about that stuff. Anyhow, they get 3.8gigahertz from overclocking and massive cooling.

PuRam is simply L's name for cenatek's product.

we'll see if L comes thru. I'm bout to ask for a tour. I live near their office. They better not be scamming us.

The only reason we talk **** is b/c metaphorically speaking we all know 1+1 is 2 and L is claiming 1+1 is PuRAM with 8GB/s transfer rate and you agree. Of course we all jumped in and try to straightening you out but you put up a good fight.
When I first read your post then my post right afterwards, I thought I was a bit rude then I tried to give you the benifit of the doubt and searched "PuRAM" it came up nothing but an old ancient city in India and this http://www.purimachos.demon.co.uk/PURAM.htm which I thought was cool but has nothing to do with computers. Then I searched PuRAM storage and returned a page you mentioned http://www.go-l.com/store/hardware/machl38.htm and a boat load of sites flaming go-l.com and explainning that L computers is fake and a hoax.
If there's a slight possibility of existance of PuRAM it would be all over the internet just like Area 51. The fact that only L site mentions the existance of PuRAM smalls P.U. Even if PuRAM exist and L just re-batched the Centrek's Rocket Drive other websites would follow up on it.
As I have mentioned before, we all know you're looking out for the forum's best interest and I really appreciate the find. But that fact that you're arguing for some company you dont know anything about is what ticked us off.

"I just don't see any reason to doubt, would you like to tell me what exactly gives you reason to doubt?"

there are so many reasons I can think of that L craputers are fake. Here's something no one on this forum mentioned before. the L laptops are rebadged Sager computers. http://www.sagernotebook.com/pages/n...4760&SubType=V No where on sager site mention any "Cacheflow" technology. cacheflow is a name of some Linux software. Marketing something that doesnt exist is your first hint that this company is fake.
Edit: c'mon DinoBite cross the line to reality. joint us and flame L. It's fun

Anyway, I'm not here to start an argument with you, I've been in this business for a long time and I know how to put 2 & 2 together. This thing just got way out of hand, the point is, I don't feel this company is legit, and even if they do exist, they are not being honest.

L computer has got ALOT of people talking. Almost all the searches I've done seems to center around Lisa Ann Ciesniewski [Siz-NEW-Skee], the mastermind of L computer. There are alot of forums that talked about her personal life, what kind of car she drives, her address, phone numbers, where she worked, even her car license plate. Damn, people are diggin up all kinds of crap on her. People are talking about taking legal actions against her for false advertising. I mean geez she ****ed off ALOT of people with that 8gb/s PuRAM and that cacheflow crap.

I think all those people who are investingating her personal life are getting a little out of hand, just a little. Everyone needs to wait and see what happens before they get all up in arms. I think the mac people just are so offended by the existence of a company that is trying to take a share of the mac user market. I don't think apple people should blame anyone but apple for losing users. I have a freind with a dual G4 and I've used photoshop and illustrator on both, and my computer is faster. shrug. not to mention theres a frickin right mouse button on my pc. thats another thing altogether.

I emailed the guy selling the L computer and got a terse response.
