    Publicity is good. The more people who make these things the lower the prices will get as more store carry the lines and competition sets in.

    Besides if your only building a carputer to be the first one on the block then thats a bit sad isn't it? Keep up with the Jones' and all that.

    Surely the reason you would go to all that troube is not to try and impress other people? I thought it was the pleasure of having constructed a complete carputer and installing it. The joy of completing a project and actually building something that works.

    Oh well guess I was wrong.

    Besides its too late to start complaining about the average user getting a carputer:

    Wow, that is pretty cool looking, I have to amit, even if it is off the shelf. Gives me some Ideas for future projects too.
    4x4 in a turbo stylee.
