    car health status

    did anyone of you ever thought about a car systems health status ?

    I hope you understand what i mean....

    Maybe a special program or a page in for instance in Mediacar wich shows you the voltage of your batterie, the oil temp, oil preasure or anything like this ?

    Would look nice as a 7 segment display style or as analog instruments

    the signals could get into the pc via the parallel port for instance...

    What do you think ?

    the OBD II (on board diagonists) people, while not doing 'health' systems, have done the whole other shebang- digital dash temps/tach etc.
