    Silly Volume Question...

Can anybody spell out how to make either and executable or what the command is to turn system volume up, down, and mute?

I have this program that will allow me to put an invisible skin over any program or I can use as an imaginary button on the touch screen.

My goal is to make these "Hot spots" that I can touch to turn volume up, down, mute, and close applications on teh fly.

I then want to be able to skin things like XM to make my own invisible buttons.

Anyone who can provide me with code, I'd be more than thankful and supply you with a CD with the software on it. (It's part of an extint software called Prody Parrot 2.0, but the features are totally perfect for touchscreen in car!)

    Thanks!
I did it all with a Dell and a Dock!

I found a little command-line utility here on this forum called volumeline that let's you control volume of any of your sources plus mute on/off. I can't remember where I actually downloaded it from and I did a search and now can't find it.

It works real good too. If anyone remembers where this is, let bradaland know.

Thanks Wi77iam! I just couldn't figure out what I was searching for! I Googled for Command-Line Mute and came up with a preetty cool Freeware called Global Audio Control http://www.globalaudiocontrol.com/download.htm

It does exactly what I need. And my other program works with it too!
Does anybody else have another way to do this?
I made some invisible buttons on teh top of my screen (Vol +, Vol -, & Mute) so Whatever program is running, I can reach over, touch that area of teh screen and I have volume control!

I'm now working on setting it up for each program so that I can do a layover on each skin to control the programs the way I want to! This is kick *** for XM now, (Up down, tab over, save, even one-touch record!!)

I'd be interested to see if anyone else is using this technology yet! Or a better way to use than I am....I'm still a novice.

    Thanks!
