I'm using a bluetooth headset for voice recognition on my car pc over an audio gateway. I have a Plantronics M3000 BT headset and an Epox BT-DG02A BT adapter. Worked ever since I installed it. After connecting it I have to press the "call control" button on the headset to get the transmission working (maybe that's what your problem is).

I dont a have a blue tooth headset, im trying to use my pc as the headset. There are two profiles for audio with bluetooth, audio gateway profile and headset profile.
Can you do a test for me?
If you have a mic on your pc, can you see if you can use your pc as the headset. In the end you should be able to route the audio from your phone to your computers speakers and use the mic to talk.

Anyone else doing this, if so how did you get it to work and what hardware do you have.

Oh, that's an interesting idea, though I honestly don't know how you would get that to work - I couldn't.

humm, that sucks.
This is supposed to work, basicly the way you have yours setup now, but only the pc is the headset. Ill keep looking around online and try to find a bluetooth dongle with drivers that fully support this. If anyone knows of any solutions that 100% work, let me know.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I've been wanting to do this (or somethign similar like the handsfree profile) on my carputer for a while now, but have come up with nothing from all my searching...
