To the people who are using their spare wells from their PC

What are you doing with the spare? and what precautions have you taken in case you do get a flat?

Last time I got a flat, no fix-a-flat would have been able to help.
I trully appreciated having a spare in the trunk.

I can only remember 1 time in my driving experience when the tire was beyond the help of fix-a-flat .. and I had a iron bar go through the tire shredding the side completly

I drove over some piece of debris thinking it was innocent snow from someone's wheel well. That thing blew my tire and put a crack in my rim. Then, it flew up and put a whole in the spare tire compartment underbody. Got it all fixed, though.

I am running Brigestone tries. They are pretty good in this situations. When the tire blew, I was able to continue going 60 MPH and pulled of to an exit ramp. I didn't even think the rim was cracked or the tire being completely deflated. The good thing about them is they wrap around the rim, so it doesn't get scrached or touches the ground.

Taking down a whole quarterpannel. That's something.

    P.S.
I hate truckers leaving their tires on the freeway. I have stories about it too.

yea it was not a pretty sight I stoped and gave them a hand , and found out later that the repair bill was extreme.
