Ready for my weekend bondo-ing project. Need help.

Planning to do my LCD dash this weekend. I already purchase these components. But I'm not sure what is primer and why do I need it.

This is the bondo that I purchase from my autoshop.

    Sand Paper, forgot what grit.
    Can of Dupi-color spray paint.

What else am I missing or did I purchase some wrong stuff?

Please help as I have no knowledge of bondo-ing. Afterward, I'm planning to fix up some dents of my car with this bondo.

So, can anyone help out explaining so even an idiot understand.

    Thanks a million.

I am not an expert or anything, but here is what I learned from my bonding.
    1) Buy a good mask for sanding. I bought mine at Low's for around $20. (I think)
I was told the dust from sanding could cause cancer...
    2) Have a patience. Try not to rush the process.

    Good luck

    Just some tips:
    1) Mix the bondo in much smaller amounts than you would for body work, becuase it's smaller work and you don't have much time, and you can always mix more.
    2) Sand, sand, and sand some more. Don't stop until you're proud of your work.
