Post So what the heck are MP3s?

Figured that would grab your attention! I'm currently trying to get an MP3 newsletter started. I hope to do this through www.ezined.com they offer a very wide selection of great newsletters. I have been a member of a few for nearly a year now. I wanted to get an idea if anyone here would be interested in recieving this mailing or if you would be interested in writing in it. I hope to cover Mp3car related stuff, home use, portable, software, you name it! anything that relates to MP3s. Some other things could be tutorial, Napster legal updates.......

If your would be interested in writing or want to be added to the list please email me. mp3pc@aol.com

If you dont like the idea I'll take flaming too!

    Great idea!

it sounds like it could be pretty cool. For an idea you could spotlight a item each newsletter such as irman or a gps unit. Something that gives ppl ideas or read about something they normaly wouldnt.

The only problem is not much of it will be new. Unless you have a really creative mind. Good idea though!

    Whooo!

Sign me up for both. I can write pretty nice (when I take my time, that is) or I can do art work / web pages.

    This is a great idea!

I think it is a great idea. I do agree with nyconx though, there isnt much that will be new, but if items are highlighed well I think that it still could be very useful. Those of us who dont own some devices will be able to get more than a general idea of what they do. Perhaps the different item descriptions will also be useful to this FAQ i keep hearing so much about.

Granted alot of the stuff will be old info for us however it will be a great way to share ideas and knowledge with the new MP3 minded people. Many people know about napster and winamp but they don't know anything about car usage, cd based portability, and even simply home use by wiring pc to sterio system. It might even be a great way to get NEW traffic flowing to this site.

Keep your comments comming I need to show www.ezined.com how popular this ezine can be!
