Can I couple a laptop & video cam easily?

Is there an easy way to couple up a laptop to a camera (not usb) for rear end viewing?

camera currently has phono plug. will be running win98 as laptop too slow with anything else newer

Perhaps using a PCMCIA card, if so what type?

Recomendation on suitable software would also be helpful.

    Thanks for any help.

You should be able to get a USB TV Tuner and hook it up that way.

A video cam won't have a reversed (mirror) image for rear viewing.

what is the speed of the laptop? if its too slow to run anything newer then win98, i dont know if it could process video in real-time.

I ordered 2 colour (reverse image) cameras and received 2 BLACK & WHITE cameras.

    Hopefully I'll get it sorted.

The one LT I have is a p2 233, but was thinking of one slightly faster (all down to cost at the end of the day)
