dumb question. how do you turn on the pc?

yup, got lots of them laying around here the m5000 has a an acc. out also

so what u can do is...

run the LCD and the CD on the same line and take the acc. out and connect that to the TV tuner

hmm. the box i have the for m5000 has leads for power (red), ground (black), blue (remote), and L.R. speaker (Green). So you're saying to connect the power line of the m5000 to the accessory line of the cd player, and then connect the tv tuner's power line to the blue (remote) of the m5000?

i am guessing you have the m5000 with the built in speaker not one with the dual video inputs (sorry my mistake...)

ok, splice the remote on for the lcd and the tuner to the remote on (also called accessory) wire for the CD player.

and sorry for the confusion once again

ya i got the one with the speaker. so i should splice the blue wire of the m5000 to the accessory line of the cd player.. the tv tuner should spice onto the accessory line of the cd player as well?

. I really appreciate all the help on this. as you can see, i am not an electrical genius.. I am getting help from someone who knows about electronics, but he wont be able to help me for awhile. And what do you mean that you have a whole bunch of m5000s? do you work for a shop or somethinng? the reason i ask is because I need a shroud (mount) for my m5000 so it fits in nicely in my double din slot of my civic. do you have any suggestion as to where i can get a shroud?
once again, you are helping me greatly and i really appreciate it!
