    Post Simple DC-DC Questions

I want to get ride of my power inverter but before I buy I have some questions.

1)What AT DC-DC do you recommend? I would like one that is geared toward newbies.

2)I looked at one from Aries. Why don't I see any cables coming out of it? I also dont see where the 12v attaches.

3)What do I need to do to hook it up? I'm guessing just extend the cig. lighter cables. What gauge do you recommend?

PS Please don't flame me I really did search.

    1. The Arise unit is great.

    2. 12V attaches to a terminal block on one side. AT motherboard cables come with it.

    3. Extending the cig. wires will work fine. You will need a power switch. 16AWG is fine.

    Thanks Mr. Cake

Does it come with two large drive connectors?

Should I be worried about the power good connection? How do i tell if my mobo needs that?

What model number do you recommend?

Any idea on how long it takes to get one?
