Question so how does it work on a tv?

what i mean is that if you have a tv in your car, and use a tv out vid card, how does it wind up looking..

one thing , for so many people running setups the pics sure are scarce

    Cool

It looks just like it would on a monitor, except not as clear. Note that you can probably only run 640x480. Higher resolutions will be unreadable on a smaller TV.

hey aaron, I think that TVout is ONLY 640x480.

I have an all in wonder, and I seem to recall the manual saying that tv's will only accept 640x480, unless its HDTV

BTW, im visiting my really cool uncle who just bought a 52 inch HDTV, and it is friggin awesome. its got 2 SVGA inputs, no converter card needed. its also got some USB ports on it, but I havent figured out what they are for yet.

My All-in-wonder & TNT2 Ultra both do 800x600 or 640x480 in TV out.. now 800x600 can be a bit blurry but it still does it.

I posted some pics of how the tvout looks in my project in the post a couple ways down (ok guys, i have read almost every freakin post ). I still believe that the ati makes the best tvout, but hey, that's just my opinion. I'm running at 640x480 and she looks pretty darn nice.

Some cards will go to 800x600, however on an NTSC TV scaling will occur and it will look, well, crappy. On a PAL TV, 800x600 can be run nativly, and it actually looks pretty good.
