Plexiglass didn't work out, I guess?
I recently took a trip to walmart to look around for a container to put my computer in. I found a real nice storage drawer case for 5 bucks. It was minimal measurements for my computer. Everything fit inside the little box. It looks like a tiny clear drawer that slides into a black 3 dimensional cubic frame. It looks so nice, and my computer parts all fit inside to make the perfect mp3box! all for 5 bucks. gonna put in a neon soon! The dremel cut through it like paper too!

it will be much easier if u create ur case using wood. I mean all u have to do is create a frame and bammm u are all done. Go take a look at some of my pics to get some idea.

I saw a nice one in a brushed aluminum case one time at a LAN party. The kid had 4 metal fans on on side sucking air and 4 on the other side pushing air. all ports and drives where nicely cut into the sides. IT was NICE. I saw simialar cases at home depot the other day for 20 dollars. I think Home Depot is more than an East Coast chain. any way this would be nice for portability . Its not super compact but durable and easy to carry so you can carry it to the house when not around or to update. I would love to have a LAN party box like that as well! My current home PC is a full tower 2 feet high.... More like a server case!

Portable plastic filing cabinet from Wal-Mart. 10 bucks & easy to cut.
Or you could just buy plexi-glass big enough to make about 3 cases for around 12 bucks at Home Depot.
