Personally? A load of patience and typing. Ugh! That's the only way i found.. so far.. that actually gets me the results i like.
What do you guys use to organize your mp3 collection, album art, etc... a lot of my friends use itunes, but i'm concerned as to wether itunes album format is compatible with media engine.. is it?

there's a program called Helium that works very well. It creates cddb (aka gracenote info) for the mp3 albums, submits them to the cddb database and well you can figure out the rest

Seriously the best mp3 manager EVAR. I have some old radio shows that were encoded at 24khz and my Linux box wouldn't play them (never figured out why), so I used TGF to find and then reencode them to 32khz.
One of the best interfaces for mp3 organizers I've seen, too.

strict file organizational structure in Windows Explorer. use an explorer window as my playlist manager. only thing that works for my collection, takes way too much time to tag the files.
