Find some semi-stiff springs. I <3 them better than rubber grommets or foam.
Guys,
My MOBO is mounted to the same fiberglass enclosure the subs are built in. So the whole box has a vibration under heavy bass. This causes the heatsink and all the conectors to vibrate pretty bad. My question is can I mount a complete layer of foam against the underside of the mobo without causing heat issures, or static issues for that matter. I have a spare pillow made out of that space age foam type material that leave an imprint when pressed, then goes back to its orginal shape, should work great for vibration absorbsion. Will this cause any problems?? Thanks Fern
