Don't want to wait a week.
What TV out are you using, at what resolution?
The display seems clear (at least from the picture)

Nice setup, but crappy car :-) Sorry, I just hate how those Z3s look...
I see that you went with the Arise DC-DC. Do you have start up problems without the power good connection?

I don't need the power good connection for
my motherboard. I find that the Arise DC-DC PSU is pretty good. Runs cold, takes about 4.5 amp when running (I don't know about on startup how high it peaks I know it doesn't go past 10 amps) Well worth the money I spent on it.

i know how all of you hate inverters.. what im currently running (hey i bought it for 12 bucks new on ebay!)
well anyway can you guys point me to the right dc to dc converter on the arise website to get in place of my 115 power supply. I need it fully working with no work needed on it. Thanks guys.

Hmmmm, 4.5A @ 12V. What hardware are you running? My inverter setup is WAY more efficient than that! I've got a Celeron 600II 20GB Hdd, DVD ROM, TV Tuner card, Radio Card, Ethernet, SB Live, and a 32MB video card, wireless keyboard, and UIR. My system only uses 4.02Amps. I would stay with an inverter if that's the caseps mine has no "Buzz" that you talk of either

Just had to have a go at all you DCDC boys![]()

Note my 4.5 amp is just a guess I don't know for sure and don't really care to know. Also I run my LCD screen off the same power. I know that takes a good .75 amps right there. Also with the dc-dc psu I can include it in my box to take up less space in a car that doesn't have much to begin with.
But to each his own you want to use an invertor fine I don't car its not my car or computer nor my money.
