I'm not sure where I got this but on the taskbar on my computer, there are icons for speech and text capabilities. I have used it with success in microsoft office (word and excel) and notepad as well as a multitude of other programs by just writing on the screen with a stylus and having it converted to text or dictating stuff in office. I don't know if it will interest you guys but it works for me as I use it to write web address in internet explorer as well as write in word (when I'm not driving). I do not really use the speech capabilities because my music in the car will make it even more inaccurate.
I'm posting this to see if a lot of people are interested. If so then I will try to find out what it is exactly. There could be a lot of uses including entering text to search for a particular song in ME or MC especially if you have a 10gb database like I do.
