    Monitoring outside temperature

My car doesn't tell me what the outside temperature is, so just wondering if there is a USB digital thermometer sensor of some sort, and software, which can display the temperature on my lilliput screen?

Unfortunately, that's the end! Was good while it lasted, but gotta sell the car.

Oh, sorry. The sensor phidgets plug into the interface kit which connects to the PC via the usb. They provide ActiveX control to program the phidgets. There are also character LCD phidgets that can take output from the interface to display data.

I am playing around with this one. I am very impressed with the kit.

It supports up to four temperature sensors, and it is pretty cheap.

I UP this old old topic

I have found this (in french)
    http://www.zebulon.fr/bidouilles/sonde_therm1.php

tou can easily made your temperature sensor, 4 inputs, with a gameport (if don't have : USB gameport works too)

My problem : don't know anythinq about coding
a little driver, who can send values to other frontend (NMC with scripting for example) will be perfect to have 4 different temp, alerts, etc on your screen.

If anyone can code that, it will be great
