    Post Home MP3 player spec help requested.

    I have an old P75 board and cpu..... May be able to find and run a 100 in the board. I can get 64 plus megs of ram for it. I want to use PCanywhere but also on the side but I'd like to peer to peer to my main pc upstairs and map drives to run my mp3 downstairs on the pc I want to build..... I want to find an old jukebox and hollow it out for this but not yet. What software would you suggest? would the cobra 3 work fine? or would you just use winamp? I also have a touchpad/keypad combo I wish to use. If anyone has an LCD that is pre wired I many be interested in playing with that if you wish to sale it. Let me know what you would do for home use? Let me know....

    CobraIII should run fine on it, but i will strongly recommend something faster. If you are going to put a PC in your car, you might as well go all the way out....cpu's are cheap nowadays anyway

    I would just use winamp for something like that.. I would assume you would have a monitor? I still remember the horror of running WinAmp headless back in my early days of my mp3 player. *shudder*
