    Plans look very interesting!
There is one thing I like to ask you: how are going to connect all 3 TFT's to your Mobo?

Already got some ideas what hardware is concerned?
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?

    Currently : Audi A6 - no install

Second install : VW Passat '97 CarPC

Just a quick question, why do you include the mp3 HU when you already have a carpc ( with which you can store as many mp3s as u like) and an amp?

Isnt it better if you can take it out of your plan and directly connect pc to amp and speakers?

A friend of mine did a system for some guy with an RX-7... he had monitors in the dash, each visor, glove box, rear view mirror, dash cluster, and 6-8 more in the hatch area... and they ALL displayed the same damn thing! Funny stuff... I'll never figure that out... it was kewl for a few minutes back when mobile A/V was new... but forget it!

Im not so sure about the two lcds, originally they would display visulisations but im starting to think it is just a waste of money.

    The carputer specs will be:
    Asus A7n8X Deluxe
    Athlon XP 1600+
    512mb DDR 2400 (2x 256mb)
either utilise onboard sound or a Soundblaster Live! 5.1
    Radeon 9700 Pro
80GB SATA HDD or 40GB Laptop HDD not sure yet.

The reason for keeping the HU is A) It cost me 350 quid and i dont want to see it spend teh rest of its days in my bedroom doing nothing, B)Has the radio and C) Will mean i can mount the DVD drive in the boot as oppose to dashboard which im not to keen on doing.

    Thanks for the thoughts guys

You're probably not going to want to set your subs up like that. You are going to have issues with constructive/destructive interference. Drivers or ports need to be on the same plane as the other drivers in the system. If you want your subs to be there it will work if you bandpass them and have the ports sitting in the same plane (i.e. not pointing at each other.)

Actually it doesn't matter where you want to mount your dvd drive. But the closer to the PC the easier, that way you can use an internal drive instead of an external one.
