Yeah, someone on the NASIOC forums sells those premade from wholesale Sharp brand LCD screens... I didn't really want to get rid of my stock CD changer (although there are tons of complaints about it), so I just decided to cut into the clock console and mount the screen in there.

i hate the whole "daddy brought it" thing. so hes young and got a nice car. so? its not really any of your business how he got it or paid for it.
In fact I find it quite offensive when people say that kinda thing to me.

Whichever way he meant it just take it as a compliment and stay

You got a nice car and he doesnt its really is that simple

When I help a friend fix a car we get those stupid beer belly outside the pub making comments how we fix things. The way I see it...can you do better than getting a beer belly? Poeple like that are normally full of **** anyway.

    Oh yeah we feel good

I think "abitcrazy" meant no harm anyway. If he did, he could have said something abit more nasty...but for what reason?

    Peace guys

Go back couple years ago during the DOT C O M boom. A 19 years olds kids just out of HS was making more money than a college grad. A software QA was making more money than the developer (no senority there).
This is simply because of stupid so called C T O who knows NOTHING. Now you know why most/all of them were going down the drain.

BTW, buying/leasing a car in the US these day is MUCH easier than 10 years ago.

Ok, enough with the arguing about young people having seemingly expensive cars. Bottom line, I bought mine, am still paying out of pocket for it and will be for the next year and a half. Sure it takes a lot of my money, but it's worth it.

Anyways, I hope to update my blog in the next week or so... so keep an eye out for some updates

I bought my honda s2000 cash when i was 17 (last year). I paid for it with the money i made writing a medical software and selling it, and also building and selling computers. i saved up all summer and worked like 16 hours a day, but hey im young and its worth it.

seems to me like abitcrazy is just too lazy to get off his *** and work for something nice.

Keep up the work, I've had mine up and running since December and can't live without it.

The WRX is a good car to rip apart and put back together, nothing is glued. Well, I guess most new cars these days are like that. I haven't really taken anything apart since my 84 GTI years ago.

bought my 04 wrx straight up. Hate having things (payments) over my head. I'm 23. Didn't really make it with the dot com stuff (though I did major in graphic design and my job is in IT). My job pay SUCKS, but I'm good with sales. Made all the money for the car/computers by selling stuff on ebay (in 8 months).

My LCD is going in the stock stereo area. Novel idea to put it where the clock is. Is there going to me any cover on the lcd when folded down?

How do you take the clock piece out anyway. Just snaps on the edges?
