    Exclamation Hooooollyyyyyy craaaaaap....... close call.

Whew... leaving BK, soda in the cupholder, turn out the driveway, whole soda flips down and gushes all over area of vanputer. Thankfully, didn't actually land ON it, or splash it, and the computer is supported off the carpet by a 3/4" piece of wood. Have NEVER EVER had a soda jump out of the holder like that, and I HAVE had a few spills in there, but this is first since pooter went in. Excellent motivation to build a proper home for it.

Geeze...reminds me of the time I went to get a 44 ouncer of soda and set it on the "shelf" on the dash in my car, cause Ford apparently decided that people NEVER drink pop in a Mustang. I forgot about it, buckled up and threw it in reverse. Splash...all over my seat..and more importantly sprayed the cd changer under the seat. DOH!

    Yeah....time to build a case!

It's got a case... just not a proper home. It's held to the side of my center console with a strap. I'm going to re-build my center console to house the computer case. Little bit ghetto... and apparently a much worse place than I thought!

Pretty much all the carpet you seen in this photo was soaked with Coke. tee hee... whoopsy doodle.

My first OPUS, 90 watts and three months old, such a bright young power supply with his whole life ahead, met an untimely demise during a thunder storm. Carputer was in the back seat; the window was open. I and the stupid **** I was making out with thought the lightning storm so romantic. Looking back, I wish I had left her in the car and brought my OPUS inside.

DAMN IT, OPUS, YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE!
