heh thats why i love my ReplayTV i can pull the video off it with out having to buy what ever. But i would love to get a Direct Tivo
For those interested - check out http://www.tivo.com/5.3.1.1.asp?article=196 It would appear that if you have a Series 2 Tivo DRV and purchase the license / software / whatever-makes-RIAA-happy keyl you will be able to offload Tivo Content onto your PC, and / or Burn DVD's
If your asking, hey - couldnt you do that with Ultimate TV- Yes, but tivo did it without being a lawsuit (well so far)
I am a HUGE Tivo fan, and am HELL BENT on downloading my home recordings to the PC Car for viewing later on

True, but the FCC approval just came (last month, I think)
It's here, but not for DirecTivos. But I'm pulling video off my Tivo already (thanks, TyTools!) and playing it on my carputer as VOBs. Works a treat!
