    divx and dvd's..

    noob question here.. i have been ripping dvd's as .iso files.. i'd like to somehow rip them as divx and be able to watch them on the pc.. can someone recommend a good program to accomplish this?

    Yes, Dr. DivX is good. It has a very easy to use GUI and wizard. It had some issue with working with Nero installed. They may have fixed that now.

    hmm i went to dr divx site and for some reason it wont allow me to d/l it.. i'll keep lookin though

    You can use Daemon Tools. It will create a virtual DVD drive and play your ISO files.

    That's true but divX take up 1/5 of the space.
