Looks like its coming along very nicely. Way to take some initiative!

or just the fact thghat I had nothing better to do this afternoon. /me needs to start reading more of the old posts so he can add to it.
I recommend taking away the special Quantum drive recommendation. Their shock protection system doesn't implement anything that all drive manufacturers don't implement during drive operation. They have some extras for non-operating, but the tolerances are already pretty high there.
I recommend adding a recommendation of laptop hard drives. They typically can handle 6x-10x the operating shock and draw less power and create less heat.

its a good start bgoodman. Maybe you should look at talking submissions from others to fill in some of the blanks..... I know that myself and others would be keen to help out. If a few of the more experenced users pumped out a few lines each, we should get a very full/rich FAQ in no time...... and should hopefully bring your workload down to a simple cut/paste job.
Or are their any good FAQ compiling software packages/programs that allows for user submission?
Project - GAME OVER :(
jshrieve: I meant to do that in the first place but I guess I missed it
magnetik: i've added an email address for additions at the bottom of the page.
there are some software packages that allow for user submissin, but I find them useless because to add to them you have to register for an account and they are hard to navigate.
remember there is http://faq.mp3car.com that nester got started up
doh..! need to open my eyes a bit wider. Well do you want some submissions? what topics? ......Originally posted by bgoodman:

didnt know that nester had set that up..... okay content... but the look is a little ugly... I think your page layout is nicer, and a more standard FAQ style...

overall.... its great that you have the get-up-n-go to start this FAQ going!!! bravo to you bgoodman..![]()

magnetik: I'll do Something about the font in a bit. To submit more email: faq@bgoodman.vr9.com with wahtever you have. The more submissions I get the easier this will be.
