Please explain your setup and how you accomplish this. Thanks!!
Well my phone is brand new but doesn't do BT so it has a handfree which has a button what im doing is having the button which answers the call mute the audio out and then runs a small program in the background to record to MP3 and when u push the button it hangs up and unmutes the volume.

I have tested this as my phone uses a head phone jack for handfree so i just split the cable and sent the audio into the line in and has the switch hook up through the serial port to mute and record the convo

Right now tho im putting these all into my own frontend as all the other frontends don't have what i need. But thats ok cause my frontend is for me only i wont be releasing it as it would be setup for my car and the functions would be useless for most other people.

    Sorry i took so long

Amongst other usual applications, I'll be using it to monitor, control and reconfigure my Megasquirt EMS - an auxilliary Engine Management System.

I would like a microphone setup so I could say "you, yes you in the white ford stop picking your nose" and broadcast this on a commonly listened to FM station, or else "this is your car speaking, please dont fart in me" or something similiar
You'd have to modify it to broadcast at HIGH power...it's gotta be high enough to override the existing radio broadcast. It's ALMOST powerful enough to override if it's sitting right next to your antenna...it'd need to be boosted by probably 1000% to work the way you're talkin...but that would be wicked. I could think of so many times that would have been useful.
