OT but still a funny story. My friend told me yesterday a story of his trip to his airforce physical. He was talking to a Marine there that had to lose 7 lbs to make tape, so his CO gave him a lot of exlax to drink overnight. He ****. A lot. During the MEPS test, they have to check for hemroids, but when this Marine bent over, he farted and said he wasn't sure if he sprayed the doctor.

Now that is a reason not to get into medicine

I hear that Microsoft is hiring batch file programmers. Get paid a couple hundred and hour.

You laugh, but I've seen some pretty powerful batch files, and we paid the
guy about $150/hr to do them...

(Of course he did other things too)

Things like: Rename a file, Put a file in the recycle bin, Empty the recycle bin, move a file from on directory to another, and with his mad skills he even made a shortcut on the desktop!

For some reason I'm not seeing why its gonna take a "darn good windows programmer." I bet most people that program in C or C++ and are good, but not great could probably write a device driver given they took the time to read about how to do it.
CarPC install is starting to come along again...
